Obituary For Gloria Breaden Perry

With hearts both heavy and grateful, we share the passing of Gloria Breaden Perry (née Coffey) on September 20th, 2025, at the age of 80. Born in Toledo, Ohio, on January 7th, 1945, to Pauline and Clifford Coffey, Gloria filled the lives of those around her with joy, laughter, and song.

Gloria was an example of warmth and light. Known to embrace life with laughter and a song in her heart, she brought happiness to everyone she met. Her love for singing and laughing reflected her zest for life—a melody that played on until her last days. Despite her struggle with Alzheimer's in recent years, her enduring spirit continued to shine, leaving lasting memories for those who cherished her.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Teisha Gates, and Teisha’s husband, Jeremy. Gloria's legacy lives on in her granddaughters, Taylor and Emma, and her great-granddaughter, Quinn, who were sources of immense pride and joy for her.

Gloria is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Patty Adams (Loyd, deceased) and Richard Coffey, along with Richard’s wife, Sharon. Her heart also extended to her numerous nieces and nephews whom she held dear. She now joins her devoted husbands, Ronnie Breaden and Earl Perry, and her beloved sister, Brenda Coffey, in everlasting peace.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Gloria’s life and the laughter she shared during a visitation on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, KY 41017. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., with interment at Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.

Gloria's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the amazing caretakers at Fields of Florence for their compassionate care and loving support.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, supporting efforts close to their hearts that aim to bring hope and healing.

As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived. Rest in gentle peace, Gloria; your memory will forever be a light in our hearts.
