Obituary For Patricia Mary Bogart

Patricia Mary “Pat” Bogart, 83, of Newport, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2025.

A longtime member of St. Therese Parish in Southgate, KY, Pat worked for many years as a cashier at Kmart and Kroger, both in Newport. She was especially proud to see her great-granddaughter, Aaliyah, graduate from Dayton High School this past May—a milestone that brought her immense joy. Pat dearly loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Born in Covington, KY on October 23, 1941, Pat was the daughter of the late Melville and Marie (Barth) Wolke. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James D. Bogart, and her sister, Rose Schulkers.

Pat is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Pam (Chris) Bryant and Cindy Bogart; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Amiee) Neace, Stephanie (Karl White) Bogart, and Sarah Neace; her great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Horton, Aaden Neace, Ryker Neace, and Eloise Neace; her brother, Jerry (the late Nancy) Wolke; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 241 Fairfield Ave., Bellevue, KY 41073. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. at St. Therese Parish, Southgate, KY, with Rev. Michael T. Grady officiating. Burial will take place at St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas, KY.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Autism Speaks (https://www.autismspeaks.org).
