There are currently 10 machines installed in the state of Kentucky to date, with other installs in progress, and franchisees currently seeking locations in which to place additional machines. Fresh Healthy Vending has partnered with more than 200 franchisees that have all helped install over 2,300 machines, in total, throughout the U.S.

Increases in childhood obesity and health issues, such as diabetes, have grabbed the U.S. government’s attention, being a primary trigger for the recently enforced federal mandates geared towards regulating snacks in schools. Fresh Healthy Vending aims to help the community adjust to these new healthy changes by implementing machines in schools, and other community establishments, across the Nation.

“With the new federal mandates, our franchisees are reaching out to schools everywhere about installing a machine to encourage a healthier lifestyle,” said Nick Yates, founder and chairman of Fresh Healthy Vending. “If these kids and communities are exposed to smarter snack choices at an early age and throughout their lives, they will have the foundation they need to keep those habits around and share them with their own families as well.”

The Fresh Healthy Vending machines are filled with natural and organic snack and beverage options. Franchisees, in talks with each location, are at liberty to choose exactly what products go inside of each machine that is in a school, office or any other location, which allows the franchisees to tailor the products to the customers’ desired preferences.

Locations in Kentucky that currently have Fresh Healthy Vending machines installed are Indiana Tech, Harrison County High School #1, Harrison County High School #2, Premier Athletics, Bluegrass, Wyatt/Collegiate Kentucky Apartments, Fall Springs Park and Recreational Center, Winchester-Clark County Parks & Recreation, National College and Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg.
