Ky 8 (River Road) will be closed to through traffic until further notice due to a slide near the 6.5 mile-marker, just west of Anderson Ferry. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says motorists can use KY 2846 (Tanners Road) to KY 237 to I-275 to Ext 4 to Ky 20 to Ky 8 as a detour. Repairs are in progress.
I-471 from the 0-5.1 mile-marker: Periodic lane closures will occur Sourthbound through Monday, May 4th at 6 a.m. Divers should exercise caution and watch for traffic control devices, contraction personnel and equipment entering and leaving the work zone. All lanes and ramps will be open during the afternoon rush hour.
Various entrance and exit ramp closures may also occur. They will be intermittent and for short periods. Detours may not be posted.
