State Sen. John Schickel will speak at the Rotary Club of Florence’s law enforcement appreciation luncheon next week in Northern Kentucky.
The lunch will begin at noon on Monday, May 11 at the Hilton Cincinnati Airport, located at 7373 Turfway Road in Florence. The event is open to the public. The cost of the lunch is $14 per person.
Representatives from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport Police, Florence Police and Boone County Sheriff’s Department will attend the annual luncheon.
Schickel has more than 35 years experience as a law enforcement officer on the county, state and federal level. He has been the state senator representing Boone County since 2008. The topics of his remarks will include the challenges law enforcement face in the modern era.
