Advertisements for KFC (otherwise known as Kentucky Fried Chicken) last featured the iconic Colonel Sanders decades ago, but the restaurant chain’s marketing team is using some Hollywood magic as part of their latest recipe to bring him back.

The Yum! brand company has cast Saturday Night Live alumnus Darrell Hammond to portray the beloved Colonel Harland Sanders, the Corbin, Kentucky, businessman who founded the fast food chicken chain in the early 1950s and whose likeness remains the official face of the restaurant chain.
Hammond is best known for his impersonations, particularly of Bill Clinton, during his run on the NBC sketch comedy show.
“The Colonel is back to make sure his Kentucky Fried Chicken is still delicious,” KFC said on the company Facebook page. “So he made this commercial about it.”
Ads like the one featured below will begin airing on television May 25.
