Learn how to manage diabetes at free classes offered by health department


Get practical tips to manage your diabetes. Diabetes educators from the Northern Kentucky Health Department are offering comprehensive education during a free class from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, at the Burlington Fire House, 6050 Firehouse Drive in Burlington.

Registration is required. Lunch and a diabetes toolkit will be provided.

Topics will include: what is diabetes, healthy eating, preventing complications and more. The class will be led by a Registered Nurse/Certified Diabetes Educator and a Registered Dietitian from the Health Department.
