Northern Kentucky University athlete J.J. Webber was named the 2015 Atlantic Sun Conference Outdoor Championships Most Outstanding Track Performer the league office announced on Tuesday.
Competing in four events at the 2015 A-Sun Outdoor Championships, Webber won two gold and a silver medal, scoring a total of 28.5 team points. Webber took gold (10 points) in the 10,000m, winning the race in a time of 31:36.02, and gold (10 points) in the 5,000m, crossing the finish line at 14:37.78.

Webber took silver (eight points) in the 1,500m with a time of 3:51.01. Webber also earned .5 points running in the 4x400m relay.
This most recent award adds to an impressive list of honors the distance runner has garnered during his time donning the Black and Gold. Following the 2015 A-Sun Indoor Championships, Webber was named the A-Sun Most Outstanding Indoor Track Performer.
Prior to the 2015 indoor track and field season, Webber capped off his NKU cross country career winning his second-straight A-Sun cross country title and second A-Sun Cross Country Runner of the Year award.
