Former Thomas More College running back Domonique Hayden (Lexington, Ky./Lexington Christian Academy) has earned a try-out by National Football League’s (NFL) Baltimore Ravens.
Hayden has been invited for a try-out during the Ravens’ Rookie Camp this month in Maryland.
This past season, Hayden was a first team selection to the D3football.com and the USA College Football All-American Teams and a second team selection to the Associated Press (AP) Little American Team, which is consisted of players from the NCAA Division II and III and NAIA ranks.

Hayden was named the 2014 Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Offensive Player of the Year and first team All-PAC last month was named a semifinalist for the Gagliardi Trophy in December.
Last season he led all of Division III in rushing touchdowns (25) and in scoring (16.7 points per game) and was third in rushing yards per game (158.4). Hayden carried the ball 209 times for 1,421 yards in only nine games this season.
Hayden rewrote the Thomas More record book while in Crestview Hills as he finished with seven career records, three single-season and three single-game records. He left Thomas More with the career record in rushing yards (5,461), rushing average (6.6 yards per carry), rushing touchdowns (82), 100-yard rushing games (24), points (534), touchdowns (89) and all-purpose yards (6,293).
Hayden also owns the single-season records in rushing yards (2,017), rushing touchdowns (25), points (168) and the single-game records in rushing yards (336), rushing touchdowns (five) and points (30).
