Thomas More College junior designated hitter Donovan Pogue (Sharonville, Ohio/St. Xavier) has been named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and D3baseball.com All-American Teams.
Pogue was named to the ABCA Rawlings NCAA Division III All-America First Team and D3baseball.com All-American Second Team. He is the first-ever Thomas More baseball student-athlete to be named First Team All-American.

Earlier this week, he was named first team All-MidEast region by both organizations. Pogue was also named Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Player of the Year and first team All-PAC by the conference’s nine head coaches earlier this month.
Pogue led the team in batting with a .450 average as he was 67-of-149 at the plate. He had a team-leading seven home runs and 55 runs batted-in and 13 doubles to go with 25 base-on-balls. Pogue finished the season with a .678 slugging percentage and a .538 on-base percentage.
Pogue and the Saints finished the season with a 30-12 record, including an 18-6 mark in the PAC. Thomas More won the PAC regular-season and finished runner-up in the PAC Championship Tournament.
