EY has named President Lacy Starling of Legion Logistics, LLC, a third-party logistics provider located in Florence as EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ 2015 Award in the Ohio Valley Region.
The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Starling was selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented at a special gala event at the Hyatt Regency last night.
“I am excited and honored to win this prestigious award,” Starling said. “When I founded Legion in the basement of my home, I never dreamed we would have over $25 million in sales and be one of the fastest growing companies in the nation within the first five years. It’s been quite a ride, and I’m looking forward to the next five years.”

As an Ohio Valley Region award winner, Ms. Starling is now eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2015 national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 14, 2015.
