Marlana VanHoose’s inspiring voice inspired once again, this time in front of a nationally televised audience before the start of Game 6 of the NBA finals last night. And, once again, others are singing praises for the 19-year-old Kentuckian’s “booming, beautiful voice,” as one sportswriter described it. VanHoose, who suffers from cerebral palsey and has been blind since birth, first entered the spotlight by singing at University of Kentucky basketball games.
