Taste of Newport June 7 showcases finest ‘tastes’ in and around the city; join the fun Sunday


The third annual “Taste of Newport” event is Sunday, June 7, rain or shine from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. The 600-700-800 blocks of Monmouth Street will be closed to vehicular traffic for the event. The event is designed to showcase some of Newport’s finest “tastes” around the city.

All food items will be priced $5 and under. A selection of domestic and craft beers will also be available for purchase.

The entertainment schedule has been expanded to include two live music stages from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. The genre of music will include: alt rock, classic rock, western, country, bluegrass, acoustic, jazz, Gypsy, Latin, originals and more!
