Judge/Executive Gary Moore and County Commissioners Cathy Flaig, Charles Kenner and Charlie Walton will hold a special meeting of the Fiscal Court in Hebron this month.
The meeting provides an opportunity to interact with residents of the Hebron community and to share information and updates on projects, initiatives and issues facing Boone County and the Hebron area specifically.
The evening, called “Hebron Town Hall Conversation with the Boone County Fiscal Court,” will include remarks from the judge/executive and county commissioners. It will be followed by a moderated question and answer session with the audience.
The event was developed in response to an invitation from the Hebron Business Association who will serve as host and moderator for the evening.
The town hall will take place on Tues., July 28, at 7:00 p.m. at the Hebron Campus of Lakeside Christian Church.
Moore said he is very excited that the Fiscal Court will have the opportunity to engage Hebron residents in their community.
“It will be a wonderful chance to share information, update on county projects and answer questions that citizens that live and work in the Hebron area have for their elected officials,” Moore said. “I appreciate the invitation from the Hebron Business Association and I look forward to holding more of these meetings around the county at the invitation of the local community.”
Adam Howard, president of the Hebron Business Association called the meeting a wonderful opportunity to interact with the county’s elected officials.
“Hebron’s rapid growth has yielded a unique mixture of residential, industrial and commercial development,” Howard said. “It is important that our residents, businesses and elected officials have a positive relationship and communicate regularly. I appreciate that Judge Moore and the commissioners are willing to work with both the Hebron Business Association and the community.”
The Hebron Campus of Lakeside Christian Church is located at 1980 North Bend Road in Hebron.
