Dr. Glenn Loomis is stepping down as president and chief executive officer of St. Elizabeth Physicians, a position he has held for five years.
The announcement was made by Garren Colvin, St. Elizabeth’s president and CEO, today.

“After much discussion regarding the future of St. Elizabeth Healthcare/St. Elizabeth Physicians,” Colvin’s announcement begins, he says he and Loomis “reached an agreement by which Glenn will be leaving” his position effective July 31.
Colvin said Dr. Robert Prichard will serve as interim President/CEO for SEP in addition to his current responsibilities as Chief Medical Office for St. Elizabeth Healthcare, while a search is conducted for a permanent replacement.

Colvin noted that Loomis had achieved a number of notable accomplishments during his tenure and that SEP has grown from 132 providers to over 400 providers while increasing its panel of patients by nearly 34,000 and number of yearly visits by almost 340,000.
