The third in a series of monthly summer events hosted by Renaissance Covington will take place from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 16, at the parking lot at W. 7th Street and Washington St. in Covington, now known as Madlot.
There will be live music, a farmers market, kid’s games and activities presented by the City of Covington Parks and Recreation Department.
Madlot is the parking lot that was creatively transformed to be an outdoor performance park.
Local musicians The Rocket Flys and Red Meets Green will play from 5-8 p.m. The Madlot Summer Series will feature different musicians the third Thursday of every month, from May through October.
The Covington Farmers Market, another program of Renaissance Covington, will also set up at the monthly Madlot events.
