Make-a-Wish teams up with MLB to make dreams come true for four young baseball fans

Major League Baseball and Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana hosted four children to fulfill their one true wish of attending the 2015 MLB All-Star Game.

Before the All-Star Game, the wish kids visited Newport Aquarium, where they received a special penguin encounter at the Kroger Penguin Palooza exhibit, followed by a personal tour of the Aquarium led by Ric Urban, animal ambassador for Newport Aquarium.

While on tour, the kids met Paula the penguin, enjoyed a hands-on experience with sharks and crossed the brand new shark bridge (several times!).

The Make-A-Wish kids are:
• Carson, 15, of Almo, Kentucky, who is battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia
• Christopher, 14, from New Jersey, who is fighting kidney disease
• Riley, 13, from California, who is battling kidney disease
• Nathan, 15, from Nebraska, who has Hodgkin’s lymphoma

Make-A-Wish relies on the financial support of the local community to grant wishes. For more information on ways to help, visit oki.wish.org, call 1-877-206-9474.
