The American Legion Riders will hold their sixth annual Teddy Bear Ride Satruday from noon to 2 p.m. to benefit children who visit the St. Elizabeth Florence Emergency Department.
The ride starts at the American Leagion Post 4 at 8385 U.S. Highway 42 in FLorence and continues to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence.
Participating riders are encourage to donate a teddy bear.

Event organizers say the Post has already exceeded its goal, collecting more than 3000 teddy bears and other stuffed animals.
But kickstands will be up at noon — including those on approximately 150 Harley Davidsons — and arrival at the hospital is expected around 1:45.
Children are welcome and will receive a special gift from the riders.
Ride director is Rob Rahschulte who said the ride started six years ago to “help put a smile on a child’s face when experiencing a visit of the hospital or emergency room.”
