Highland Heights receives $200,000 for Knollwood Subdivision roads; Rep. Keene presents check


Representative Dennis Keene presented a check for $200,000 to the City of Highland Heights for highway funds to complete the rebuilding and repaving of the Knollwood Subdivision. The additional funds were secured from the Commonwealth Department of Transportation.

“This Highland Heights neighborhood will now have the newly completed roads that increases the beautification and value of the neighborhood homes,” said Rep. Dennis Keene. “I appreciate the help from the Campbell County Fiscal Court and Highland Heights city officials for their support and in determining the scope and parameters of this project.”

Rep. Keene secured $230,000 in state funding for the project in 2012. The new funding will allow for the completion of the project.

Rep, Dennis Keene has serve the 67th District since 2005 and is the chairman of the House Licensing and Occupations Committee, Vice Chairman of Economic Development, Vice Chairman on the Budget Subcommittee on Transportation and a member of the Banking & Insurance Committee. Keene is a small business owner and an economic development advisor for EGC Construction.
