Keeneland offering more seating, dining options for fall meet, thanks to construction for Breeders’ Cup

Keeneland is offering fans a variety of new seating and dining options for its 2015 Fall Meet, to be held Oct. 2-24, by making available to the public the Club Lawn Chalet, Saddling Paddock Chalet and Loge Boxes, all constructed in preparation for the Breeders’ Cup World Championships. Tickets are currently on sale for these areas, as well as the track’s traditional dining rooms, reserved Grandstand seats and general admission.

Individual ticket reservations for the Fall Meet may be made online at Keeneland.com (click on the Tickets and Dining tab under Racing) or via mail.

“These beautiful facilities provide unique views and once-in-a-lifetime experiences,” Keeneland President and CEO Bill Thomason said. “The community has been so enthusiastic in welcoming the Breeders’ Cup to Keeneland. It’s exciting for our team to be able to share these exceptional venues with our fans throughout the Fall Meet.”

The new areas encompass more than 2,000 additional seats and include:

Ø Club Lawn Chalet: Available Fridays and Saturdays during the Fall Meet. Tickets are $80 per person and include general admission, lunch buffet and race-day program. Seating sold by tables of six only.

Ø Saddling Paddock Chalet: Available Fridays and Saturdays during the Fall Meet. Located outside the Grandstand East entrance, this chalet overlooks the Saddling Paddock. Tickets are $80 per person and include general admission, lunch buffet and race-day program. Seating sold by tables of six only.

Ø Loge Boxes: Available every race day during the Fall Meet. Conveniently located on the first floor Grandstand and elevated to sit just below the permanent boxes, these seats offer commanding views of the race track. Boxes seat six and prices include general admission: $200 per box on Saturday, $150 per box on Friday, $100 per box Wednesday/Thursday/Sunday.

Additionally, dining reservations are being taken for the Lexington/Kentucky Room and Phoenix Room on the fourth floor Grandstand and the trackside Equestrian Room. Grandstand reserved seats and general admission tickets also are available for purchase.

Keeneland will host the Breeders’ Cup on Oct. 30-31. A special celebratory day of Keeneland racing will be held Thursday, Oct. 29. Information regarding ticket sales and activities for Oct. 29 will be released later this month.
