A new E-Commerce retailer to Northern Kentucky is partnering with the Northern Kentucky Makerspace.
Monoprice, headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, California, is a leading provider of high-quality and affordably priced consumer electronics and accessories. They held the grand opening of their new mid-west distribution center last week in Hebron.
The new warehouse will create 20 full-times jobs and will house more than 1,400 of the most in-demand products sold on Monoprice.com. Monoprice offers exceptional products that are on par with the best-known national brands at prices much lower than those of its competitors.
“We believe a strong e-commerce and customer service model must be supported by an exceptional distribution strategy,” said Bernard Luthi, president of Monoprice.
Expressing their interest in becoming a community partner, Monoprice presented a check worth $5,000 of Monoprice product to the Northern Kentucky Makerspace.

Local dignitaries in attendance included Boone County Judge-Executive, Gary Moore, Congressman Thomas Massie’s (R-Vanceburg) Field Director Bob Porter, Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce President Trey Grayson, and Northern Kentucky Tri-Ed Vice President Wade Williams.
Also in attendance, Boone County Schools Expanded Learning Opportunities Coordinator Ryan Kelllinghaus, Principal Jerome Gels, and Assistant Superintendent Dr. James Detwiler.
