Florence’s UC Health Stadium will be the site of the 2016 Frontier League All-Star Game, Freedom officials announced Tuesday.
In keeping with local tradition, next year’s Mid-Summer Classic will be known as the “Y’All-Star Game”. The game will take place on July 13, 2016 with festivities surrounding the game beginning on July 11.
This announcement comes on the heels of the Freedom winning the league’s 2015 “Organization of the Year” award and making the Frontier League’s 2015 playoffs.
The Freedom made the announcement to their fans during the “Roast of Pete Rose” Night last Thursday. They also unveiled the “Y’All-Star Game” logo with a special video.
