A five-under par 66 from Clayton Portz led the Northern Kentucky men’s golf team to the only red team score in the final round of the 2015 NKU Fall Classic and move up to fourth.
Portz climbed the individual leaderboard and earned a share of third at two-under for the tournament.

Morehead State took the team title at seven-over par (859). Wright State’s Ryan Winzler won the individual crown with a score of 10-under par.

“I am really proud of how our guys played,” said head coach Daryl Landrum. “Clayton shot a terrific round and it was great to post the only team score under-par. I think our first Division I tournament was a success and I’d like to thank all of the teams for participating.”
Brinker finished tied-17th after moving up 11 spots on the leaderboard, while Gamm and Poore earned t-21st and t-28th, respectively.
Jacob Jackson led NKU’s second quintet and finished t-39th. Corey Dulle was one-shot back and shared 43rd. Landon Osborne, Matt Wetherill and Byron Speach shared 61st, 63rd and 65th.
