Garren Colvin, St. Elizabeth President and CEO has announced changes with his administrative team.
Colvin said the changes were made to enhance the overall patient experience at St. Elizabeth now and into the future.


Gary Blank has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
Blank has served St. Elizabeth as Chief Clinical Officer and Chief Nursing Officer. His vast and diverse experience, including his years spent in the emergency department and in the finance department, will prove beneficial as he becomes the operational leader.
Chris Carle will become the first President and Chief Executive Officer of St. Elizabeth Provider Network (SEPN), the St. Elizabeth Physician Hospital Organization (PHO).
Carle brings many years of senior leadership, including his years as a CEO with exceptional physician relation skills, to the new PHO.


Dr. Robert Prichard will become the Chief Clinical Integration Officer.
Dr. Prichard brings a very broad background to this new role. He has been a practicing physician, the CEO of a large physician group as well as St. Elizabeth Chief Medical Officer.
Bruno Giacomuzzi will become the Chief Operating Officer for St. Elizabeth Florence and St. Elizabeth Ft. Thomas as well as Senior Vice President for Professional Services.
Giacomuzzi joined St. Elizabeth in February 2015 and has more than 25 years of healthcare experience and leadership in both operations and patient services.


Lisa Frey will be promoted to Vice President Legal Services/General Counsel.
Frey previously was involved with the St. Elizabeth risk management and corporate compliance functions.
Joseph Bozelli will become Vice President of Mission and Pastoral Care, a new position on the leadership council.
Colvin said, as a mission-driven organization, it is paramount to have this new role on the leadership council.
