Volunteers are needed for the “Beyond the Curb” Newport Urban Living Tour Sunday, September 27th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This rain/shine event will showcase 13 residential properties including rental units and for sale properties, occupied and non-occupied within the Central Business District and the East Row and Westside neighborhoods.
This self-guided tour is an opportunity to see the diversity and opportunity that exists in the City of Newport. Attendees will be able to go BEYOND the Curb and witness the incredible urban revival that is happening!
Eighty volunteers are needed for the 13 properties to serve as “Ambassadors” for the City of Newport to greet attendees and relay information provided by the property owners about their featured property.
There are 2-shifts: Morning Shift – 9:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. or Afternoon Shift – 12:45 p.m.- 4:30 p.m.
There are perks: One complimentary ticket to “Beyond the Curb” and free lunch
