UpTech, metro-Cincinnati’s informatics accelerator, in partnership with the HCDC Business Center, Bad Girl Ventures, Ohio River Valley Women’s Business Council and the Ohio Small Business Development Centers will be hosting a local competition for the SBA’s 2016 InnovateHER Challenge.
The event will be locally sponsored by the Kentucky Innovation Network.
The SBA describes InnovateHER as a national prize competition aimed at unearthing products and services that impact and empower the lives of women.
The application deadline is November 1st at 11:59pm. The top ten finalists will pitch in front of a panel of judges who will decide the winners on November 16th. From the judge’s recommendations, the winning team’s information will be sent to the SBA for consideration of pitching in the National Finals round in Washington, D.C. on March 16, 2016.
