Continuing its mission to improve the health of the community, The Christ Hospital Health Network is supporting the First Ladies Health Initiative by providing free health screenings to the public this weekend.
Health Day will be held Sunday, Oct. 11 at 18 area churches.
The Christ Hospital is one of more than 40 community partners assisting in the effort by providing free lung and asthma screenings. Several volunteers from The Christ Hospital will conduct the free screenings.
The First Ladies Health Initiative is holding a press conference to to announce the Health Day.
First Lady Dena Cranley, wife of Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley, will share key location and time information for the free screenings.
The Christ Hospital Health Network recently opened outpatient centers in Montgomery and in Fort Wright and is planning medical centers in Liberty Township and Fort Mitchell.
