Are you considering a career in the medical field?
Have you always wanted to work in an operating room?
Find out more about a career as a surgical technologist and see inside the workings of an operating room during the Open Operating Room career night at the American National University Florence Campus, located at 8095 Connector Drive, on November 10 from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
The event is free and open to all.
During the event, participants will learn to “scrub-in” for surgery, and have hands-on time with the instrumentation. In addition, there will be a question and answer session with recent graduates who are working in local hospitals who will discuss their experience in the ANU surgical technology program and in their new jobs.
A complimentary dinner will also be provided.
Space is limited and reservations are encouraged. To reserve your spot, call (859) 525-6510 or email April Anderson at aranderson@an.edu.
The Florence Campus has been offering a career-oriented education to Northern Kentucky students since 1978. Classes are now forming for the winter term which begins January 4.
