Mitchell Hollifield kicked a 24-yard field goal in the fourth quarter to give Cooper a 15-13 win over Conner in a rain-soaked game on Saturday that decided the Class 6A district standings.

Cooper took first place in the three-team district and gets to host a first-round game in the state playoffs against Louisville Seneca.
All of the Northern Kentucky high school football teams know their opponents for the first round of the playoffs on Nov. 6-7 since district games have been concluded.
Two local teams will be hosting a playoff game for the first time in the history of their programs when Rowan County visits Scott in Class 4A and Raceland visits Bishop Brossart in Class 1A.
The playoff schedule also includes three games between local teams. Those matchups will be Conner at Campbell County and Boone County at Ryle in Class 6A along with Newport at Walton-Verona in Class 2A.
