TURNER TURNING IT UP: Freshman outside hitter Kelly Turner has found herself filling in as a middle hitter over the last several weeks and had a solid effort last weekend in Wisconsin. Turner posted 21 kills and hit at a team-best .326 clip while posting three blocks as well. Turner has seen action in 32 sets so far this season and ranks fifth on the team with 1.52 kills per set.

FIGHT TO THE END: NKU’S 3-2 win over Green Bay on Friday was the team’s second five-set victory of the year, having earlier this season defeated SIU Edwardsville in five sets. The Norse have held their opponents to a negative hitting percentage during the deciding set this season. Over the last two seasons, NKU has posted a 7-1 record in five-set matches.

NIFTY FIFTY: Friday’s contest marked the seventh time this season that NKU has posted 50 or more kills as a team in the match, as the Norse put down 64 kills against Green Bay.
