Want to ‘Learn to Love Change?’ Join Kara Williams at the next Women’s Initiative breakfast Oct. 22


Kara Clark Williams, founder of Shoestring Stategies, will present “Learning to Love Change” at the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Women’s Initiative event on Oct. 22.

Change is a constant in life and nowhere is that more true than in the workplace. The business world is always evolving. Successful professionals have to be willing to embrace change, even when the outcome is still unknown.

During this session, attendees will learn about the four primary phases associated with change management — denial, resistance, exploration and commitment — and will be introduced to tips for learning to love change in the workplace.

The event will be held on Thursday, October 22, from 7:30 a.m.- 9 a.m. at the METS Center in Erlanger, and will include a continental breakfast and networking.

Presenter Kara Clark Williams is a mission minded, business strategist with 10+ years experience in communication, marketing and community development. In 2013, she founded Shoestring Strategies, a marketing and communication firm specializing in integrated marketing, strategic communication, and community engagement, and graphic design.

She studied Organizational Communication at Northern Kentucky University and was the College of Informatics Outstanding Alumni Award winner in 2013. She is also Forty Under 40 Award winner from the Cincinnati Business Courier and an Outstanding Woman of Northern Kentucky Award winner.
