Throughout the next year Barleycorn’s will celebrate its 40th anniversary with customer appreciation events and gifts at locations in Cold Spring, Lakeside Park and Florence.
The party starts the week of Nov. 9 when adult guests (21 and up) will receive 40th anniversary shot glasses and every customer will get complimentary cake with their meal.
Next up is the 40 Beers for 40 Years event, a joint anniversary celebration with Miller Lite and Barleycorn’s from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Cold Spring on Nov. 17, Lakeside Park on Nov. 18, and Florence on Nov. 19.
Each location will have throwback prices on Miller Lite and giveaways featuring Miller Lite coolers, 40 Barleycorn’s gift certificates and 40 sets of tickets for local attractions and sports teams.
Barleycorn’s has been family owned and operated by Joe and Ken Heil since it opened its first location in 1975. The restaurant offers a selection of lunch and dinner entrées, award-winning burgers, chicken wings and a wide selection of craft beers and spirits.
Barleycorn’s owner Joe Heil said he hopes people will stop by their nearest location and share in the celebration.
“We are very proud of our 40 years in business,” Heil said. “We are very grateful to have quality employees whose hard work shows in the quality service and products we offer. And we are equally grateful to our guests, many who have grown up with us over the past 40 years.”
