On Tuesday, November 10, the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber will release the 2016 Regional Economic Report at a luncheon at the The Phoenix in Cincinnati.
Earlier that morning a partnership of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, Agenda 360, Skyward and the Urban Land Institute Cincinnati will present “The Connected Region: Transit’s Role in Economic Development” at breakfast meeting.
The Connected Region
“The Connected Region: Transit’s Role in Economic Development” will be from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, 3 East Fourth St., Cincinnati.
The event will feature:
The release of a transit-focused Regional Indicators Report that uses data to benchmark the Greater Cincinnati region against 11 peer regions. A panel of local leaders discussing the role of transit in economic development and community vitality includes:

Gabe Klein, national thought leader on transit, will present the keynote address. He formerly led city transportation departments in Chicago and Washington, DC and was a senior visiting fellow at the Urban Land Institute.

Regional Economic Outlook
The luncheon from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at The Phoenix in Cincinnati will present the 2016 Regional Economic Outlook.
Regional economic experts will share their economic forecast for the nation and our region.

Presenters include Janet Harrah, with Northern Kentucky University, sharing national trends, and Julie Heath, with the University of Cincinnati, will explore the impact of local economic trends.
Attendees will have an opportunity to participate in a panel discussion with all presenters and learn more about the new normal we face in the year to come.
Cost to attend the event is $25 for Cincinnati USA Regional or Northern Kentucky Chamber members and $50 for future Chamber members.
