The Florence Freedom released their 2016 schedule which includes a home-opener on May 13 against the Windy City Thunderbolts.
The 2016 Freedom home schedule also includes being the host site of the 2016 Frontier League Y’All-Star Game and Home Run Derby. The Y’All-Star events will take place July 11-13 with the Home Run Derby falling on Tuesday, July 12, and the Y’All-Star game falling on Wednesday, July 13.
In all, the Freedom will play their traditional 96 game schedule with 48 home games. The home schedule will also feature a few exhibition games that are still being organized. In total, the Freedom schedule will feature nine weekend homestands and 7 weekday homestands.
Game times for the 2016 season will be 7pm on Monday thru Friday games and 6:05pm on Saturday and Sunday. The Freedom will play four scheduled Wednesday doubleheaders with a start time of 5:35pm. Two morning games will be featured in 2016, those days fall on Wednesday, July 6 and Wednesday, August 31.

Seats for the 2016 Frontier League Y’All-Star game are currently available. Season tickets and mini-plans are on sale now and represent the only way to secure seats to these events before they go on sale to individuals in the spring.
