Bluegrass Commercial Group LLC has hired Brad Ramey as Vice President of Business Development and Estimating. Brad has over 20 years of construction and business development experience, both commercial and residential, and will be responsible for developing new business strategies and project estimating for clients throughout the region. He holds a bachelor’s of Science Degree in Construction Management from Northern Kentucky University.

Bluegrass Commercial Group LLC, founded in 2009, is Northern Kentucky’s fastest growing general contractor.

Hero Fund Scholarships

The Family Resource and Youth Services Coalition of Kentucky had named the first recipients of a scholarship fund of service coordinators. The fund was made possible by an endowment established by CareSource, a managed care health plan.

Two of the recipients from around the state are Amanda Munich of Taylor Mill and Amber O’Brien of Summit View.

The scholarship are for professional development. The FRYSCs serve children and families as they work to remove nonacademic barriers to education, such as lack of health coverage, shoes or child care.

Humphrey joins Wiseway

Melvin Humphrey, a veteran in electrical and plumbing industry, has joined Wiseway Supply of Florence as manager of its new location in West Union Ohio.

The new location is just behind AutoZone in West Union and will be able to supply plumbing, electrical, lighting and some HVAC products.

Tolbert House promotes Brad Gray

Brad Gray of Flemingsburg has been promoted to director of Information technology for Talbert House, a nonprofit that serves children, adults and families in behavioral health, community care, court and corrections, and housing throughout Greater Cincinnati.

Gray has been with Talbert House since 2013, after having been IT director at Gallatin County schools. He is president of the Fleming County Band Boosters,is a Kentucky Certified Fire Fighter and an Emergency Medical Technician. He lives with his wife, Alisha, and two children, Dalton and Emily, in Flemingsburg.
