Get a head start on a healthier heart in 2016.
The St. Elizabeth Heart & Vascular Institute offers a comprehensive 10-week program to help you identify your risk and learn how you can make meaningful changes to help you live better and live longer.
Each class includes valuable tips from clinical experts including a registered nurse, a pharmacist, a dietician, an exercise physiologist and a counselor.
Participants will meet weekly for 10 weeks to talk about heart health with clinical experts. Initially, they will identify their risk factors through a cardiac age assessment. After the assessment, participants will meet weekly to learn lifestyle changes to improve their cardiac age. They will complete an assessment at the end of the program to measure progress.
In addition to expert advice, each participant will receive a copy of Mayo Clinic Healthy Heart for Life.
