The annual Kentucky Educational Television event in Northern Kentucky honored long-time KET supporters and community activists, Mer and Susan Grayson.
Mer Grayson is chairman of the board of Central Bank in Northern Kentucky.
It also offered a preview screening of the upcoming second Inside Northern Kentucky program for KET, produced by the Kentucky Center for Public Service Journalism, publisher of the Northern Kentucky Tribune. It’s the first program for KET focused exclusively on Northern Kentucky.

The Martinis & Mistletoe event, held annually by the NKy Regional Board of the Commonwealth Fund for KET, was at the Drees Pavilion at Devou Memorial Overlook from 5-8 p.m. It featured a reception and silent auction.
Inside Northern Kentucky‘s December show will first air on December 17 and will run several times through January 5. Guests at the event got a special preview.

The show will include features on Skyward, the Boone County Library’s Robot Zoo, the history of the Licking River by NKU history professors Paul Tenkotte and Brian Hackett, and a fun, informative story about Matt Grimes’ Colonial Cottage and its record prominence in the goetta world. (Hint: they sell more than anybody — and the amount will surprise you. The rest of the world is just surprised about goetta).
Here is the schedule for the second program. It is a regular monthly series.
