Northern Kentucky University will celebrate homecoming this week.

“We all have the potential to do amazing things at NKU and beyond. It takes all of us to show how amazing Northern Kentucky University is. So let’s be bold and go for the gold,” said students Emily Powell and Abby Clark, Homecoming co-directors.

Homecoming is underway, and students, faculty, staff, alumni, and members of the community are invited to participate in the many events scheduled through Saturday, Feb. 6.

There’s something for everyone: Norse Water Olympics Tuesday night; the Homecoming Gala Wednesday night; the annual Alumni Awards Celebration Friday night; the annual Alumni Chili Cook-off Saturday afternoon; and three men’s basketball games this week as the Norse return to BB&T Arena fresh off a win at Detroit.

“If you haven’t been to campus in a while, now is the perfect time to visit, see what has changed, and reconnect with old friends,” said Michelle McMullen, director of Alumni Councils and Programs.
