Adam Howard, insurance agent for the Boone County–Burlington Agency of Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance, has been named 2015 Agent of the Year for District Three.

The award was presented during the company’s 61st annual sales conference, held in Louisville on March 29.
The District Three Agent of the Year award recognizes an insurance agent’s excellence in overall sales production, satisfactory loss-ratio, service to policyholders and an affirmative attitude.
District Three is a 19-county region consisting of agencies in the following counties: Anderson, Boone, Bourbon, Bracken, Campbell, Fayette, Fleming, Franklin, Grant, Harrison, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Nicholas, Pendleton, Robertson, Scott, Shelby and Woodford.
Howard, a Boone County native, received a bachelor’s degree in corporate and organizational communication from the University of Kentucky.
He was the Government Community Relations Director for Boone County Fiscal Court before contracting as an agent with Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance on July 1, 2014.
Outside of the office, Howard is an active member of the Florence County Rotary Club and St. Timothy Parish, and he volunteers his time with the Cub Scouts. He and his wife, Annette, have five children.
Howard heads the list of a well-established network of nearly 400 Kentucky Farm Bureau agents statewide. The company, founded in 1943, has offices in all of the Commonwealth’s 120 counties.
Farm Bureau markets a wide variety of insurance lines, from homeowner’s and automobile coverage to life and health insurance and retirement planning.
