Neyer named Main Street Director for City of Dayton; will promote residential and commercial activity


The City of Dayton has hired Tina Neyer as Main Street Director.

The position will consist of a variety of administrative, technical, and professional work. The primary role of this position is to develop, implement and maintain plans, policies, and programs to promote residential and commercial activity in the city of Dayton.

“We are excited to bring Tina on board to continue the momentum we have created within Dayton over the last year,” said Mayor Virgil Boruske. “Our Economic Incentive Program [CCAP] is doing very well and we are confident Tina will be able to take the program to the next level.  She has been extremely invested in the community for a long time and we are eager for her to get started.”

Neyer graduated with a master’s degree in Education from Xavier University, where she also attended undergrad. She is currently a self-employed writer and an academic tutor at Xavier University.

Prior to working as a writer and tutor, Neyer served as partner and Vice President at Neyer Construction Inc. She has also worked as a professional mediator for Hamilton and Clermont County Courts in Ohio and for Campbell County Court in Kentucky.

Neyer has been involved with the Tharp Dayton Heritage Museum as a program director where she dedicated her time to the citizens of Dayton. She was awarded the Preservation Award for Campbell County and the Northern Kentucky Heritage League Presentation Award.

During her time at Neyer Construction, she was named one of the 100 Wise Women of Cincinnati for her contributions to the growth of the community.
