Every five years, the Northern Kentucky Health Department engages the community in an assessment to understand the current health status of Northern Kentucky and identify ways to improve health for everyone.
The current assessment was guided by community partners from the Health Department, Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Northern Kentucky University, St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Skyward and the United Way of Greater Cincinnati.
The group, the Northern Kentucky Health Steering Committee, conducted a Community Health Assessment to identify priority health issues and outcomes.
A copy of that assessment is now available for public comment. To view it, click here .
Further, the health steering community created a Community Health Improvement Plan to address the issues identified in the assessment.
A copy of that plan is now available for public comment. To view that plan, click here .
Individuals who review the documents will be asked to answer a brief survey to provide feedback. Those who complete the survey can be entered into a drawing for a $50 Kroger gift card.
