Old Seminary Square and Covington’s Westside are once again joining efforts this weekend for an annual garden tour, where residents will open their private spaces to see what gardeners — from novice to masters — have created.

Walk from home to home, garden to garden to enjoy the beauty of Covington on Saturday and Sundey, rain or shine, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Get tickets for the Covington Garden Tour at the corner of Russell Street and Robbins Street in Covington, near John G. Carlisle Elementary School. Tickets on the day of the event are $15 each.

One ticket gives you two days of 20 locations full of garden exploration at your own pace.

The tour will benefit the efforts to preserve and save Westside’s last public greespace at Orchard Park as well as develop the Old Seminary Square public parks, Annie Hargraves and Basel Lewis park.

The weather forecast is really favorable for the tour — highs in the upper 80s are expected both days.

Wear comfortable walking shoes!
