On Monday, July 4, celebrate Independence Day with baseball, fireworks, and a special appearance at UC Health Stadium as the Florence Freedom take on the Southern Illinois Miners at 7:05 p.m.
Extreme juggler Mad Chad will be on hand to entertain the crowd. Fans may recognize Mad Chad from his appearances on national Progressive Insurance TV commercials.
Mad Chad’s performances will include juggling chainsaws, 500,000-volt stun guns, bats, 10-pound bowling balls, and, while riding a six-foot-tall unicycle, razor sharp machetes.
For his final act, he will juggle flame torches for a count down to minor league baseball’s best fireworks show.
