Crews will close KY 2045 (Pruett Road) in Latonia to begin construction of a new bridge over Decoursey Creek at the junction of KY 2044 (Marshall Road) starting June 20.
Rob Hans, chief district engineer for KYTC District 6 said, “The new bridge and approaches will be constructed to current standards that will provide better mobility for the motorists who travel this roadway.”
The new bridge will be 50 feet long with two 9 foot lanes.
Motorists are encourage to use the signed detour on KY 2044 (Marshall Road) and KY 2045 (Petty Road).
Sunesis Construction Company of West Chester, Ohio was awarded the low bid contract for $454,606. Crews anticipate completion by August 1.
