AAA has partnered with Kentucky Speedway to sponsor the “AAA Garage,” the areas at the track used by both the NASCAR Sprint Cup and XFINITIY Series teams during race weekend.
This will be the first time AAA will make this type of sponsorship in motorsports.
“AAA is widely known for providing superior roadside assistance, but the full scope of our offerings include insurance, batteries, glass, car care and more,” said Tom Wiedemann, chief operating officer, AAA Club Alliance. “Our hope is the AAA Garage here at Kentucky Speedway will remind race fans, many of whom are AAA members, that we are dedicated to providing them with a complete automotive solution. We’re not only the emergency pit crew for our members; we’re the team back at the shop keeping their vehicles running.”
As part of AAA’s sponsorship, the AAA Garage will feature AAA branding at Kentucky Speedway NASCAR events for the next three seasons.
“AAA is an innovative market leader and the garage sponsorship is yet another example of their creativity. The next three years will be a lot of fun as we come up with more ideas that benefit the race fan and AAA’s customers,” said Mark Simendinger, Kentucky Speedway general manager. “This partnership is a perfect fit for Kentucky Speedway.”
AAA was the title sponsor of the AAA 400 Drive for Autism in May.
AAA sponsors Richard Childress Racing drivers Austin Dillon and Brandon Jones. Dillon has had a AAA paint scheme for two races this year, and will again in October, while Jones will drive his No. 33 AAA Camaro at the Alsco 300.
AAA is a not-for-profit member service organization with 56 million members in the United States and Canada.
