Art show by Carol Muir
Ken Wynn at Wynners Cup Cafe in Ludlow will host an art show Saturday from noon to 2 Saturday of art by Carol Muir.
“I’ve always sketched, drawn, and painted,” says Muir. ” My work always felt too personal/not good enough/blah blah blah to ever share with anyone else. However, I have slowly – courageously – been showing my paintings to artists in a private online group. I found myself gradually starting to share them with friends and family and even on my own Facebook page. Then one day a local artist asked me if I wanted my own art show. It turns out she’s the new curator at a gallery downtown.”
A few weeks later, Muir says she got up the courage to take a few days off from her “real job” to attend an out-of-town workshop offered by a well-known artist.
“The first day left me so overwhelmed I just wanted to go home,” she said. Instead she showed up for day two — and that’s when the amazing magic started.
Muir will be sharing her art at Wynners Cup Cafe on Saturday.
