A Union man has been charged with fourteen 14 counts of Sexual abuse 1st degree, two counts of Use of a minor in a sexual performance.

Clinton Ransdell, 40, has also been charged with reckless driving for allegedly attempting to escape authorities.
Ransdell is accused of having sexual contact with two minor girls and taking nude photos of them for a period of up to ten years.
“So much information has to be withheld in situations like this but we put it out there on the chance there are other victims who might now come forward,” Boone County Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Maj. Tom Scheben said in a statement.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office issued the following statement:
On Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at approximately 9:00 p.m. Boone County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a Union, Kentucky man for having sexual contact with two minor girls and taking nude photos of them for a period of up to ten years beginning when they were younger than 7 years old.
Clinton Ransdell, 40 of the 2600 block of Longbranch Road in Union, Kentucky is *charged with fourteen (14) counts of Sexual abuse 1st degree, two (2) counts of Use of a minor in a sexual performance, & Reckless driving after he attempted to escape a dragnet closing in on him.
Ransdell is lodged in the Boone County Detention Center in lieu of a $50,000 cash bond. The victims’ identities are obviously being withheld along with their relationship with the offender in order to protect their privacy.
