The Library invites Boone County residents to attend a planning meeting with the architects on Tuesday, September 20, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Main Library (1786 Burlington Pike in Burlington).  Participants will see images and design styles to spark ideas and develop a vision for a new building that will best meet the community’s needs.

Community input will also be encouraged  for  ideas on how the site, building form, and interior layout could be organized.

“Libraries are an important and integral part of each community and therefore special consideration and a carefully thought-out design solution is needed,” Monica Sumner of Brandstetter Carroll, said. “Our goal is to provide an innovative and inspired library building that will reflect the unique context and culture of the Boone County community. We are excited to get started on the new Hebron Branch project and hope you will be able to join us for the upcoming input session.”
