Mark King, President of adidas Group, North America, highlights the programming as the keynote speaker. A number of local celebrities will also be in attendance, including 12-time NBA All-Star Oscar Robertson. The NKU Jazz Band will provide live music and comedian Josh Sneed will entertain the attendees.

In addition to dinner, the Gala features silent auction tables and a live auction of several premium items, including packages for the Super Bowl, 2017 Final Four, Green Back Packers game at Lambeau Field and a Bahamas vacation.

The silent auction is currently open and can be viewed here. Bidding is open to the public until 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, even if bidders will not be in attendance at the Gala.

The Gala benefits the Go Norse Fund, which supports NKU’s student-athletes by directly addressing NKU’s strategic priorities, including student-athlete well-being, academic achievement, competitive excellence, facility enhancement and resource development & fiscal management.

Additional information, including price, event details and auction items, can be found on the A Night with the Norse website.

  1. Is NKU going to recognize Todd Johnson and Tyler White for their many contributions to the program? The AD at NKU should be in prison, not giving away tickets to Green Bay events. He allowed three basketball players to get away with sexual assault and under oath admitted to it. The community should boycott all NKU events until Bothof and Mearns are fired. They looked the other way in two rapes, Jane Doe and the three basketball players in 2015 before David Bezold was fired. How attached is Bothof to Green Bay? Givinga way Packers tickets in Northern Ky.? Give me a break.
