Volunteer NKY will link local residents with opportunities to volunteer with over 30 local social service organizations at a Volunteer Fair to be held September 8.
“People helping people” is the theme.
Our objective is to easily “connect” people of all ages and all walks of life with opportunities to serve.
The event is organized by Life Solutions Network, a collaboration of volunteers and agencies in the Cincinnati/NKY area working to improve life skills capability with people in need.
This year’s Volunteer NKY: Connect event is scheduled for September 8 from 2-6 p.m.
This is a free event and will be at the Life Learning Center in Covington at 20 West 18th Street in Covington.
Light snacks will be available.
The Volunteer NKY vision states that:
We build a more vibrant and engaged NKY by easily connecting people of all ages and all walks of life with opportunities to serve.
We are all in it together, everyone makes the world a better place in their own unique way.
People volunteer to their purpose, passion and potential.
The Connect event is part of a larger volunteerism initiative called Volunteer NKY.
